He has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine, biomedical science, and anthropology. His approaches which combine conventional medicine and ancient traditional Chinese medicine can treat and help with almost any kinds of diseases. He specializes in Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, allergic rhinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, facial paralysis, hemiplegia, hormonal disorder, multiple sclerosis, sciatica etc. He has strength in acupuncture, acupressure, flame cupping, moxibustion, tuina massage, and sliding cupping  etc. He is also the founder of “Bhaisajyaguru Gravity Acupuncture”(refer to blog), and specializes in using auricular acupuncture and “huangdineizhen 皇帝内针”. Yang Zhang has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in Langley since 1998. She is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and the founder of Langley acupuncture .Yang's career in the medical field dates back to 1979, when she studied conventional medicine in Tongi University. She also briefly studied Chinese

herbal medicine and acupuncture during this time. She graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Medicine and began work as a professor and researcher at Henan university. Alter a lengthy career at Henan University. Yang began to take a greater interest in Acupuncture. She received her training in Beiling from Li Shizheng. She opened her brookswood clinic in 1997 and has resided in Langley ever since.
